Tigereye
is found in South Africa. It has a very complicated formation that
starts out as asbestos which in turn is replaced by quartz. Tiger Iron is a mixture of red jasper, tiger's-eye matrix and hematite, which creates unique striped patterns in silver-gray, deep-to-golden yellows, and brown and red tones.
