Cabochons or Free Form Cabochons
Cabochons or Cabs are either cut to a specific size in order to be placed in a preformed bezel or cinch mount or are a free formed stone to be used in custom formed (usually sterling silver or gold) mounts or bezels and/or for wire wrapping. Some stones lend themselves to freeform because of their initial shape is pleasing. Others are free formed because that is the way the lapidary see it. Our plan is to have a selection of both for any needs of the beader, jewelry artist, wire wrapping or the customer who wants a finished piece.
