Rose quartz is one of the more desirable varieties of quartz. Rose
quartz is found in Madagascar, India, Germany and several localities in
the USA. Color: pink to pale pink and African varieties is almost
lavender. Hardness - 7
Amazonite is a gem variety of microcline feldspar, being potassium
aluminum silicate. found in the United States, Brazil, Zimbabwe, Russia,
Australia, Namibia. It got it's name because it was thought to come from
the Amazon but that is not so. Color: usually light green to blue-green,
mottled and sometimes contains light striations. Hardness - 6
Sodalite
- Sodium Aluminum Silicate Chloride. Sodalite is named in reference to
its sodium content. Found in Namibia, Brazil, British Columbia and
Ontario, Canada and Maine in the U.S.A. Color: most sodalite rocks used
as a gemrock are mottled light, medium
and/or dark blue, rarely with purple or magenta spots. Hardness: 5.5 -
6.0.
Indonesian Coral is a fossilized coral with very interesting patterns.

Calsilica is a man made material out of Mexico.
Malachite is a
secondary copper mineral found in oxidized copper
deposits. Found in Russia, Zaire, Australia, and Namibia. In the United
States, specimens have been found in the copper mines of Arizona,
California, Nevada, Utah, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. Color is always
green. Hardness - 3.5 to 4
